Mission: Red Arrow Indulgence

Red Arrow Indulgence complete !! Today BEC successfully navigated it's way through the notorious Rt 3 NH/MA border to take part in breakfast excellence.  After a short while of driving and what seemed like endless outlets, Walmart’s, and other poorly made chinese product houses we arrived at the Red Arrow Diner of Milford, NH.  Located on a simple river the Red Arrow overlooks what seems to have been an old milling location.  The view was nice but could have gone with out the oil leak containment floats that hung elegantly over the waters edge.  Even with this visual distraction there were still some nice falls, and a curving river that including what seemed to be an old historic church in the background.  I’m sure come fall the leaves will be insane with color and the leak will have been contained just in time for all the leaf peepers out there to drive up from RI.
Upon entry the Diner was familiar with the scent of well...everything.  I could smell the steak bombs being prepped for lunch, the bacon sizzling, and the fresh scent of maple syrup being drizzled over fresh strawberries and waffles.  Good to be home !!  Quickly grabbing a stool BEC settled in at the coffee counter where you will always find great quick service.  After all where do the refills come from??  Now ordering did not take long.  Being a breakfast freak I already mapped this project out carefully and spent a good 30 minutes the night before on the menu.  This bad boy can get you lost !!  Without prep I could really see myself annoying the crap out of anyone I was with by spending an obnoxious amount of time deciding.  Not to mention the aggravation I would cause the poor waiter/waitress.

The Order:
1 Bacon egg and cheese, double everything, slice of ham, and griddle muffin.
1 Sausage egg and cheese, extra cheese, griddle bagel
1 Maple sausage eggs benny with homemade hollandaise sauce
1 Side Hash Brown
1 Side Bacon
1 Side Pan Fries

What a meal !!  Yes this meal is over the top, and yes requires a visit to the gym later in the evening... but so worth it.  Overall everything was cooked to perfection.  NO burned bread, perfectly cooked bacon and meats, and incredibly prepared eggs.  The hollandaise sauce was original and great over the maple flavor that shot out the sausage in every direction.  In the battle of the sides it’s Pan fries over hash browns.  Although the Hash tasted great the pan fries had a certain carnival flavor to them that reminded me of a local small town fair.  And of course last but not least the BEC was well....INCREDIBLE (make sure to double up on each item though).  BEC was incredibly happy with the service at the Red Arrow Diner.  We were never without fresh coffee, water, napkins, or room to breath.  The food came fast and hot exactly how we ordered.  I guess my only regret would be not having a bit of cheese tossed on both my panfries and Hash Brown...but I guess with a meal like this thats just over the top even for BEC.  Overall this trip was 100% worth it and was everything a diner should be.  BEC will be back again soon to share this treat with fellow breakfast conasouirs.  Thank you Red Arrow Diner for an extremely good BEC.  Well done.
